Textiles by Auntie Cookie (Shannon Lamden)
PrintPaperCloth looks at Shannon Lamden's range of Limited Edition hand printed textiles today. Also known as Aunty Cookie, the range is printed with water based inks on fabric that is a linen/cotton blend. You can view her range either on her website, or on her Etsy shop.

Primarily I love the patterns that apply to children's textiles as I am very drawn to the bold, colourful, illustrative and fun style. On her website you will find her fabrics translated into bags, clothes, cushions, wall hangings, softies, quilts and more. Just gorgeous!
Textiles by Pippiejoe
PrintPaperCloth looks at Pippiejoe today, a range of hand screenprinted organic textiles produced in Melbourne. Most of Pippiejoe's designs are stylised graphics that work exceptionally well in single colour screenprints. Of course there are more designs available for you to see on the website, but you'll get an idea of the style from what is pictured here.

PrintPaperCloth gives Puddin Head a thumbs up; why? Original work that stands out a little from the rest. Puddin Head is a Sydney based design studio that is the brainchild of Richard McAdam, a Sydney based illustrator and printmaker. Richard has some beautiful items available for sale. The illustrations are detailed and a little quirky which I like.

Textile and home furnishings design by Formosa
Jennifer Berney from Formosa design, has produced a beautiful range of print and textiles that are inspired by Australian flora and fauna. In textile and surface pattern design, it is rare that I come across a designer who has captured the beauty of the Australian landscape in a contemporary way, in fact, sadly, there are few designers who actually utilise the Australian landscape in their work.
Luckily for us, with her love for the natural environment, and an illustrative background, Jennifer has captured the softer elements of the Australian landscape, and has produced a small range of feminine and delicate textiles that I love.
Jennifer operates with sustainability in mind and only uses water-based inks, and 100% organic cotton, hemp and linen.

Textile Design by Mookha
Mookha is an independent Australian label that prints and produces a range of hand made textiles, homewares, accessories, quirky animals and women's skirts. Based in Inverloch in the Victorian bushland, the sister team Nicole and Leisa choose to work with textiles made from natural fibres such as hemp, linen and organic cotton. Though Nicole and Leisa produce their own range of textiles, they also like to work with textiles produced by other designers who also share their love for the natural environment and natural fibres.
You'll see from below that their range of products is bold, funky, inspired by nature and very contemporary. I am particularly fond of the floor cushions which I have also pictured on the printpapercloth homepage, and this moose beanbag which would just be great for my little person's play space.. hmmm might do some online ordering after this post!
